I've been trying and trying for so long and have managed to make my first Granny Square! Thanks to a friend for pointing me in the direction of crochet tutorials on YouTube; they're FAB.
I'm wanting to actually create something now; a blanket, cushion covers... who knows?
This is my very first attempt. I need to get the tension right so more practice for me.
